Optimal Cloud Orchestration Model of Containerized Task Scheduling Strategy Using Integer Linear Programming: Case Studies of IoTcloudServe@TEIN Project

As a playground for cloud computing and IoT networking environment, IoTcloudServe@TEIN has been established in the Trans-Eurasia Information Network (TEIN). In platform, orchestration conducting flow of task demands is imperative effectively improving performance. this paper, we propose model optimal containerized scheduling that maximizes average payoff from completing tasks within whole system with different levels hierarchies. Based on integer linear programming, can take into account demand requirement resource availability terms storage, computation, network, splittable granularity. To show insights obtainable proposed model, edge-core cluster its peer-to-peer federated scenario OF@TEIN+ are numerically experimented herein reported. evaluate model’s performance, level completion time considered by comparing well-known round-robin algorithm. The ILP be guideline IoTcloudserve@TEIN because lower higher especially upon large growth, which major operation range concerns practice. Moreover, illustrates mathematically significance implementing architecture refined granularity via light-weighted container technology used as basis clustering design.
